That pursuant to Section 34 of the Municipal Act, 2001 Council hereby authorizes the permanent closing of a portion of the highway legally described as PIN 42168-0596 PCL 1004 SEC DKF; CROSS ST PL M25; KENORA and declare Cross Street on Plan M25 as surplus to Municipal needs; and further That in accordance with public notices bylaw 160-2022 public notice is hereby given that Council intends to permanently close a portion of the highway and declare Cross Street as surplus to the needs of the municipality; and further That three readings be given to a bylaw for this purpose.

That Council hereby approves the removal of the Holding (H) symbol from the R3[H] – Residential Third Density Zone on Part 1, Part 5, and Part 6, on a Plan of Survey of Lots 2 to 6, inclusive and part of CROSS ST Plan M-25; CITY of KENORA, prepared by Eric Rody, Ontario Land Surveyor on the 18 th day of September 2025, and related to AOLS Plans Submission Form Number, as the conditions of By-law No. 87-2025 for the proposed six-unit development on these lands have been satisfied; and further That three readings be given to a bylaw for this purpose.
